My Story

Activist to Candidate

My history of activism began when a friend of the family lost their life to the heroin epidemic.

My father was deeply affected and took me and my younger brother out to anti-heroin rallies and events, helping to push good samaritan laws that protect people administering care to overdose victims. During this time in my middle school years, from a young age I received valuable experience planning, coordinating, and building community aid to better the lives of everyone and protect the most vulnerable members of our community. Now as an adult I am able to continue this tradition and work to make positive changes to our community and to the world at large.

Now as the political landscape has gotten more worrying by the day, I've focused my efforts on minimizing damage to our community. Running food drives when the food banks were overwhelmed, boosting and volunteering for organizations that assist unhoused individuals, and organizing mutual aid workshops and community events.
