<p><strong>South Carolinians have no protections against extreme rent spikes, and there are no limits to sudden rent increases that can price renters out of their homes.</strong></p><p>Creating a reasonable limit on yearly rent increases to protect residential renters and small businesses will protect South Carolinians from predatory housing management, eviction, and homelessness.</p>
